Tuning is Our Specialty!

We have expert technicians and the latest state-of-the-art Wintersteiger Ski Tuning Machines to meet the needs any race or retail customer. When performance matters, you can rely on Peak Performance to give you the most accurate precision tunes available. Overnight tuning services available for an additional charge. Please make sure you have your skis to us by 3:00 pm for pick up the following day.

Precision Race Tuning and Services at Peak Performance

The Ski Racing Center at Peak Performance Ski Shop is the number one shop for race ski and snowboard preparation and service in New England. As a Wintersteiger and Swix Racing Center we work hard to provide world cup level race ski and snowboard preparation and service to our athletes. Our race tuning team has over 100 years combined of technical tuning experience among it's members. The Ski Racing Center at Peak Performance revolves around our state of the art Wintersteiger Jupiter tuning machine, and we are proud to service athletes from National Teams to local clubs from all over the world. We'll give you the extra edge. When it's hundredths of a second you're counting on, rely on us to to give you the most accurate precision tune you can get.

Peak Performance provides event specific structures for race skis. We recommend Hoop on SL, Tech on GS, and Speed on SG/DH. Unless otherwise requested, your skis will be prep with the specific event structure. To learn more about Race Structures follow the link or feel free to reach out to us.

Waxing - The Final Step

The final step in the preparation of a ski that enables the ski to glide smoothly and prevents softer snow from sticking to the ski and slowing you down. We select the best Swix wax for the conditions at the ski area that you will be visiting. Please let us know when you drop off your skis where you expect to be and when you will be there. Infrared waxing is also available for deep conditioning treatment and thorough wax saturation of your ski bases.
