SWIX DIAMOND STONE

Diamond stones have the special quality of having the cutting ability of a file and the deburring and polishing ability of a traditional stone all in one tool. Convenient as an on the hill quick tuning tool as well. The special Swix diamond pattern gives these ski tuning stones an excellent cutting and polishing ability as well as added longevity. Use the coarser grits to get through the hardening that occurs during manufacturing or after hitting rocks. The finer grits are great at de-burring and putting on a smooth, sharp finish to ski edges. We recommend using these stones with edge beveling tools and a stone lubricant such as SVST Secret Sauce.

  • TAA100N - X-Coarse 100 grit (Black):
    Deburring and sharpening stone. Great for removing case hardening on freshly ground skis or from rock hits.
  • TAA200N - Coarse 200 grit (Red):
    Deburring and maintaining sharpness and smoothness. First all purpose stone - a must have.
  • TAA400N - Medium 400 grit (Yellow):
    2nd in your must have diamond stones. Maintains smooth sharp edges and begins to bring out the polish.
  • TAA600N - Fine 600 grit (White):
    Honing and polishing clean edges. Great for finishing tech skis.
  • TAA1000N - X-Fine 1000 grit (Blue):
    Final polish for extremely exact edge accuracy.
